60 euros are needed.

Vaccination
Vaccination
You must have vaccinations against Hepatitis A, polio, tetanus, Typhoid, diphtheria, yellow fever if you are from a country which is infected by one of these diseases.
Malaria prophylaxis is needed, please ask your doctor about its use.

BagagesBaggage
For your comfort, 1 suitcase and 1 hand luggage for a day pack is the most suitable.
It may also happen during the trip that your luggage may not arrive with you at destination for many reasons (corresponding flights, terminal change...). It is better to keep with you in your hand luggage some changes of clothes, shoes, underwear and medicines if needed.

Equipment and clothing
Light walking shoes (or even a sandal), lightweight trekking shoes or trail boots, light cotton wears - some with long sleeves, pull over if your trip is between June and October, Sun hat, swim wear, sun glasses, torch with spare batteries,  binoculars, water bottle, insect repellent, personal first aid kit, anti bacterial gel if needed,  If your trip includes visits of rainforests, bring a light wear waterproof coat.

Currency
Ariary is the local money. You can do some changes at the airport banks at arrival or at a foreign exchange office or at local banks or at hotels.
Please note that respective places for currency change are hardly found out of a big town, so make sure you have enough local money in that case.
