Madagascar is the 4th biggest island in the world. It is situated in the Indian Ocean, west of Reunion and Mauritius and east of Comoros and Mayotte Island. 400km off of the Eastern African coast.
This island continent, as many writers call it, reveals many contrasted aspects. From the North to the South as well as the West to the East, the nature and landscapes are totally different.

The rainforest of Amber Mountain and the dry forest of the Tsingy of Ankarana stretch over the North of Madagascar. The East and its corridor of rainforests: Marojejy, the Masoala peninsula, the hinterland of Andasibe and Ranomafana parks.

The dry and deciduous forests of the West and the Tsingy of Bemaraha, and the arid and inhospitable spiny forest of the South give an accurate picture of the beauty and natural richness of Madagascar.

On balance, you can enjoy the pristine beaches with their natural lives. A case in point is the whale watching in the eastern coast from July to September. Or if you are a keen diver, you can also spend some delightful stay in a diving site during your visit in Madagascar.
